One way to make holidays fun is by planning out a few easy, inexpensive ways to celebrate them! We like to hype up the holidays in our family because they are a great way to make memories. Do you remember class parties at school when you were a kid? Thinking about them makes me smile, because they were always the best days of school! The class parties were pretty simple, but so fun. They always had a fun themed snack, an activity and decorations, of course!

It doesn’t take too much effort or money to celebrate St. Patricks day with your family. First, like the school classroom party, think about food. Could you try a St. Patricks day theme with one of your meals?

Decorate

Next, decorate! You can stop at the Dollar Tree, they always have a lot of quick decorations for every holiday. Or print out some shamrocks and have your kids help you cut them out. They can place them around the house and on the kitchen table!

Ask your kids to make some pictures and hang them on the wall or the refrigerator to decorate. Go for a walk and collect green things to put in a vase for your table.
