Easy Creamy Pudding Pie

Easy Creamy Pudding Pie

Totally quick and easy, creamy dessert!

You’ll love this light and creamy, easy throw together dessert!

I remember my mom making this pie for me as a kid! Such a light and creamy dessert that is totally no sweat to throw together. The chocolate pudding is rich and smooth and topped with mounds of cream! Yum! And the best is the pops of crunch from the mini chocolate chips on top.

This recipe truly is simple. With just a handful of store bought ingredients from Walmart and 15 minutes (if that!) to assemble. And it tastes so good! You could make it for a gathering or just your family.

The How To

Start with a frozen pie crust, and bake it according to the package instructions.

Tip: Place the pie crust on a small baking sheet to easy pull the it out of the oven without damaging the crust!

Tip: If you are making this in the summer and you’d like a no-bake dessert, just use a graham cracker crust or an Oreo crust!

Once the crust is baked, let it cool completely. Meanwhile, pour milk into a medium sized bowl. Add the pudding mix and whisk for 1 minute. Spread 1 cup of pudding into the bottom of the pie.

Next, in the bowl, fold half of the whipped topping into what’s left of the pudding. Then add the mixture to pie, making the next layer.

Finally, spread the remaining whipped topping onto the pie, top with mini chocolate chips. Let chill for 2 hours before serving.

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days, but it is best eaten within 24 hours!
