Easy Barbecue Chicken
How to make perfectly seasoned barbecued chicken
I will let you in on a little secret. My husband doesn’t like barbecue sauce! We have been married for 7 years and I let barbecued chicken fall on the back burner and it took me about 5 years to realize that I’m gonna make it for myself anyway!
After 5 years when by, I finally scoured the internet for how to make it, but I really like the method I cooked up. You season all the meat with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, and let it marinate at least 30 minutes- up to 4 hours before cooking. Then you cook it and after a couple turns, brush BBQ sauce on only the pieces you want. All the chicken is perfectly seasoned, and I get to enjoy some BBQ!
Oven Recipe
I did mine shown here on the grill. But you can do the same in the oven! Cook at 400º for 15-20 minutes. Season it with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Put it on a greased pan. Place it in the oven for the first 10 minutes. Take it out and paint it with sauce for the last 5-10 minutes. You can also turn up the oven to broil at the end for extra browning.
