The Best *Easy* Gluten Free (Dairy Free) Banana Bread
A one bowl recipe that is quick, really moist and perfectly sweet!
Our family loves banana bread, I was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance and knew I had to find a new tried and true banana bread recipe. After experimenting for a few months I’ve found the perfect recipe for my family, and I think you’ll love it too!
This bread is perfectly sweet and really moist! We love to add chocolate chips but you can leave those out or even add nuts if you like. It really tastes like the classic banana bread, it has a nice crumb and a great banana bread texture. Let me show you how to make it!
The How To
Preheat your oven to 350º for aluminum pans or 325º for a dark non stick bread pan.
Add two large over ripe bananas to a bowl along with oil of your choice, (I use grape-seed oil, but you could use coconut, avocado oil, canola) and mix well until the oil is totally combined.
Next add sugar and eggs, beat again. Then add baking soda, cinnamon, salt and vanilla and mix until just combined.
Finally add the flour and mix to form a batter. After this you can stir in chocolate chips or nuts.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for around 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool and enjoy!
This banana bread will stay fresh in an air tight container for 5 days or you can freeze for up to 3 months.
*Tip: You can also double the recipe and leave one loaf out to eat and freeze the other loaf for later!
I hope you enjoyed this recipe, let me know how yours turned out in the comments!
