  • so grateful you included pics of SureJell recipes for Less or no sugar added pectin. I am so frustrated that they no longer
ger include those in the box! THANK YOU!

      • Went to start my blueberry jam and thought I’d gotten a box that was defective due to no instructions, so I checked the other box I had. Nope. Went to the website they said and couldn’t look at any instructions and they didn’t even have blueberry jam listed.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

    • Yes, thank you! I just purchased a box to make jelly for a class I’m teaching at my homeschool co-op. No Directions, so frustrating !!! I’ve made it before but it’s not like I have the steps memorized.

  • Am I missing something on the directions? It doesn’t say anything about using other types of sweeteners or when you don’t use any sugar at all. I’m almost certain that at one time there was information about the other types of sweetener you could use. Would I make the recipe as it’s written using an alternate sweetener? My blackberries are pretty sweet- if I do use sugar, I don’t have to use the full 4 cups- do I?
And, I’m not sure if it’s a typo, but the side of the box of low no sugar pectin says to use 3.5 qts of berries per 1 box of pectin for cooked jam. That seems like an awful lot of berries.

    • Thanks so much! I was missing the last photo which showed the sugar substitute instructions. Varying any part of the recipe could result in set failures, but doesn’t mean it won’t necessarily work.

  • Thank you so much! The Kraft site , who you would have the insert, makes it very inconvenient to find any original recipes. So appreciate that you posted this!!!

  • I am extremely grateful that you posted the sure jell instructions, since they don’t come with the pack of sure jell anymore and the company site makes it very difficult to find, what you are looking for. This resulted in my making peach jam with the incorrect amount of sugar. This is very aggravating for me, since I used my fresh peaches from the garden and am not happy with the jam results I got. You are a lifesaver, giving the opportunity to copy the instructions on your site. THANK YOU!!

  • Thank you, thank you for posting the cooking instructions for Low Sugar Sure Gell Pectin. When I opened the box there were no instructions and when I typed in their web page it stalled and would not download. I tried 3 times.!! So grateful for you posting the instruction sheet on Pinterest! Great idea!

  • iT TOOK ME HOURS TO TRY TO FIND THE ORIGINAL SURE JELL LESS SUGAR PECTIN JELLY FREEZER RECIPES. THANK YOU SO MUCH. WHY DID THEY QUIT PUTTING THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BOX?

  • Pingback: My Homepage
  • I too opened my box of sure jell for low sugar and no insert and I was getting ready to make my jam!! Thank you SO much for posting pics of the insert!!

  • Thank you so much for finding this recipe insert and posting the recipes. I was just ready to make cherry jam, and there were no instructions in my Sure-Jell box. And even though they claim to have recipes on the internet, I have looked and looked, and could not find the reduced sugar recipe for cherry jam (or jelly.). They apparently think the only kind of jam people make is strawberry. Thanks again so much!!!!

  • thank you THANK YOU for posting this. I was bummed when they quit using the insert and thought I had kept a copy. This year I could not find it, and the QR code that links to the website gave me nothing helpful!

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I bought the SureJell pink boxes to make my summer jams and found no inserts. After a minor panic, I found your post. Thanks for saving me!

  • Thanks! I was bummed that I didn’t have some old boxes around. I’ve been searching for the recipes online now for a couple years, sometime to no avail. This especially helps since Kraft doesn’t even have a lot of these on the website that we are supposed to reference now.

  • I am so disgusted to find no insert for making my cooked blackberry jam recipes with seedless juice, and other recipes. I wished I had a copy of those I used but had no idea sure=jell would quit putting it in the box! Sure-jell prices are high enough that the insert should still be in it. Can you help me? I have looked for over an hourto no luck.
