Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to
350°F (175°C)
. Lightly grease a
12-inch cast iron skillet
or butter it for extra flavor.
Step 2: Mix the Dough
In a medium bowl, whisk together
softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar
until smooth.
Add the
egg
and
vanilla extract
, mixing well.
Stir in the
baking soda, salt, and flour
until a soft dough forms.
Fold in
chocolate chips.
Step 3: Bake to Perfection
Spread the dough evenly into the
cast iron skillet
. Bake for
12-15 minutes
or until the edges are golden brown but the center is still soft.
