Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix | or substitute gluten free cake mix
  • ½ cup oil | ¾ cup for gluten free
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Reese's peanut butter chips

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
  • Add Peanut Butter Chips: Stir in the peanut butter chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 2: Shape and Bake the Cookies

  • Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-13 minutes, or until the cookies are set. They may still look slightly soft in the center, but they will firm up as they cool.
  • Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

-If using a Gluten Free Cake Mix, they are usually larger than the standard 15 oz chocolate cake mixes. Please use 3/4 cup oil, so that your mix forms a dough.
