1large egg

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Gather two baking sheets.
Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 1 minute.
Add Extra Ingredients: Beat in the egg, followed by the baking soda, salt and vanilla extract.
Flour: Add the flour mixing just until combined.
Step 2: Shape and Bake the Cookies
Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Add M&Ms: Add the mini M&M's to a plate. Roll the top of each cookie dough ball into the M&M's so that they stick to the surface.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
