M&M Mini's Cookies: Colorful, Fun, and Delicious

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour you can also substitute gluten free cup for cup flour
  • 1 9.4oz bag M&M Mini's

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Gather two baking sheets.
  • Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 1 minute.
  • Add Extra Ingredients: Beat in the egg, followed by the baking soda, salt and vanilla extract.
  • Flour: Add the flour mixing just until combined.

Step 2: Shape and Bake the Cookies

  • Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Add M&Ms: Add the mini M&M's to a plate. Roll the top of each cookie dough ball into the M&M's so that they stick to the surface.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
