Instructions
Preheat the oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans with butter or non-stick spray.
Cream together:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and butter for 1 minute.
Add the rest:
Add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a denser texture.
Add extras (optional):
If you’re adding walnuts, pecans, or chocolate chips, fold them into the batter now. 1/2 cup of add-ins recommended.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool:
Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
