Garlic and Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5-6 medium-sized Yukon Gold potatoes
  • cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • butter to taste
  • parsley

Instructions

  • Peel the potatoes, and cut into a large dice.
  • Bring a pot of water to boil, add the potatoes and plenty of salt. Cook for 15-20 minutes until they are fork tender.
  • Drain and mash the potatoes thoroughly with a potato masher. Add sour cream, garlic powder, and milk. And butter, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Whip together with an electric mixer. Enjoy!
