- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1⅛ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350°
Grease an 8 inch square baking pan, set aside.
In a medium sized mixing bowl add completely melted butter, oil & sugar. Cream with mixer for 1 minute.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat for another minute until lighter in color.
Add in flour, cocoa and salt (sift in if you prefer).
Gently fold in ingredients until just combined, do not over mix.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until center is just set and no longer jiggles.
Remove and let cool until brownies are room temperature.
Slice into large (9) or smaller (16) brownies, enjoy!
